The St. Andrews Charity Fashion Show (known as FS) the largest and most successful student run event in the UK. The philanthropic event has raised over £380,000 since our foundation in 1991. This year sees the 23rd year of fashion and fun combineing the authority of well-known designers with the flair of the country’s best student talent - both on the catwalk and throughout our campaign. This years charity: It’s Good 2 Give is an Edinburgh based charity and has already raised over £800,000 for local young people with cancer and their families. In the long term, their aim is to raise £1 million to fund the build of a purpose- built respite house for young people and their families affected by cancer. Each year, the fashion show also ends the Young Designer Award. The award is decided over an intensive ten-week design session, in which each applicant produces five original pieces as a runway collection,working with Scottish Fashion Awards (Winner: Hayley Scanlan, Nominee: Saunt&Sinner – Scottish Young Designer of the Year). The shortlisted designers then see their creations exhibited on the FS catwalk - alongside award winning British and international fashion houses.
